2005 changes for Voyager

Post by Aaron Leone » Sun Aug 15, 2004 10:38 am

Hi, Long time lurker.

I've been wanting the Voyager for months now- not really into the
Anniversary idea- wood etc. Actually not ready finacially.

I'd be ready to buy next spring (too many other money projects going
on. Synthesizer.com just started and having an attack of GAS over
mics and such)

Do you think Moog will stop the lighted control panel once 2004 is
over or will it make it to the performer series?

I would def spend the extra cash for the
backlighing.

Playing live is always tough for reading graphics. Most lighting
makes certain color schemes vanish.

Plus using goose neck lights on stage looks awful and gives me that
camera flash blindness feeling when I move to a normal part of the
stage.

I can't imagine Moog tooling up for 1 year and droping it.

I'm not really concerned of the Anniversary plaque or the paperwork
but I do think the backlight is helpfull.

Thanks

Aaron

They might add the backlit display option included with the lit modwheel option and charge more. i am not sure. Good question though.
