OS2 Crash
OS2 Crash
Someone, please help .
My Moog Little Phatty Stage II has broken.
As a symptom, It faintly hears the input sound of the start When you turn On the LP II,
However, even if the keyboard is beaten afterwards, the sound is not emitted.
I think that OS has crashed, because even if you go to System Utilities with Master Menu,
Anything doesn't react when I turning the knob to the left, and always OS get crashed after Analog Mode
when turning to the right. Lcd screen becomes Blank afterwards,
Every thing freezes up when the massage "Fatal Error Keyboard over run" show up on the Lcd screen.
Although I tried download of new OS which I got from the web site via USB and Midi
but, LP does not accept the signal from my computer.
Does anyone know what is this problem ??
Do I need to redownlond the OS ?? tell me How ??
Thanks

Well that's bizzare...are you running Windows, Mac, or Linux? I am only familiar with uploading LP software by Mac. I may be able to help if you use a Mac. Also, what MIDI devices do you use?
Minitaur, CP-251, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Space Drums/Crash Pads, QSC GX-3, Pyramid stereo power amp, Miracle Pianos, Walking Stick ribbon controller, Synthutron.com, 1983 Hammond organ, dot com modular.
That IS unfortunate...sorry mate.OH wrote:Thank you for your reply,

Make sure you have installed the latest driver for your Mbox, this might cause any problems.OH wrote:Thank you for your reply,

Yes it is important to install latest drivers for the MBox. It may be necessary to try a different MIDI interface.
Can you navigate to the LP System Utilities without crashing?
On the System Utilities page, you should press Cursor and then select "FW UPDATE" - this must be set to ON or the LP will not respond to new firmware. If you can set FW UPDATE: ON, then you should be able to send new firmware OS.
If you cannot set FW UPDATE: ON because of this crashing problem, let me know. Don't worry, there are other ways to re-program the LP (only not quite so easy).
Kind regards,
Amos

Thanks for all the support from you, I appreciate that.
I tried to re-install OS in many way which you taught me before, for example using different Midi interface after Installing latest driver etc, but My Lp still doesn`t recieve the signal .
I`m sure that there are ploblem of Midi or USB in the LP side. because computer can recognize the signal from LP via MIdi/USB,( found a Little phaty as a New Hardware) but can`t recieve anything from the outside.

No, I can`t see System Utilities without crashing, I only can see
"Peform Set, Advanced Preset, LFO Sync, Analogue Mode " without crashing.
If you have another way to re-program the LP , Plaese let me know.
Thanks
