On the plus side, Shiny Toy Guns seem to use a lot of synths.
That's always good. :)

Not my cup 'o tea, but I hope they keep buying plenty of gear and encouraging other up-and-coming bands to do likewise.

I used to be a big fan of STG. I have the 1st and 3rd edition of We are pilots. This new album is pure garbage and one of the most dissapointing albums of 2008. The new singer is a joke to my ears. Just my opinion.

I personally am really enjoying Spleen United and I think it's the best album of the year. It's full of analog synths. They use a ton of Korg ms-20. Dark, Melodic, dancy at times. Again, just my opinion.

I'm just having fun, here tyrocks00. You have been an active forum member on a few threads, including one of mine, so you aren't a COMPLETE spaminator like a couple others I can think of. (Anyone remember metalmaster?) We here on the forums don't take kindly to band promoters as a whole, or people who THINK they are performing a service by getting people to listen to unknown bands. In my personal experience there's usually a reason they are unknown.

BTW, you might want to check out Lemon Demon and Abney Park for some cool tunes.

Cheers!
