live sequencer and minimoog voyager doubt

Post by rod » Mon Nov 17, 2008 8:05 pm

Hi there, im reading the manual but i dont understand some things. well my main doubt is this: i have a nord lead 3, and i use live ableton to make sequences, live allows to manipulate 4 presets (sounds) from the nord lead using midi (i can use midi channel 1 from live and in the nord lead i choose that the bank 1 use channel 1 too and the same for the bank 2, 3 and 4). can i use the live sequencer via midi to manipulate more than 1 preset from the minimoog voyager. sorry for the english and i wait and answer. thanks.
saludos from mexico.

Simple answer is no.

The Voyager has a polyphony of one. ( it's monophonic ) So you can only play one sequence using one preset. You could use your sequencer to play one track on the Voyager and the rest on your Nord L3 though. :)
