I need help
The active parameters on my LP Stage II drift whenever an audio cable is connected between the audio out socket of the LP to an an audio in socket of any Monitor or sound card I have (even if they are turned off). The drift stops whenever I disconnet the the cable from the audio in socket.
I don't think this is an earth related problem with my audio cables becuase I have tried at least 4 or 5 different cables and different connections (TRS to TRS, TRS to XLR, TRS to Phono etc.) and this phenomenon always occures. It is partialy eliminated if I use the Pass-through knob setting.
I am suspecting that someting is wrong with my LP. This renders my LP completely useless. It sits in my studio like an expansive statue.

Can't solve the parameters drift problem

I don't know if this is your problem but Ive hooked several things up to my computer before, namely didital and analog recorders.
Sometimes, the computer would send a signal back to my recorder which would totally max out every light meter on the thing, like it was the hottest signal under the sun. Like especially if I connected it to the RED plug on the sound card. (I have no special sound card just a factory gateway card.
This voltage could very well be causing some interferance.
I really hope that its something simple like this and not something wrong with your synth. Hope you get it fixed!

It's funny...the demo model at my local Sam Ash had this problem for a while. Then, the last time I was there, it didn't have that problem. I asked the manager about it, and he said that they changed the powerstrip that the LP was plugged into. It may be a ground loop issue.
Or, the LP may be getting feedback from whatever device you're plugging it into. You can test that theory by plugging a TRS cable into whatever devices you run the LP into and using a multimeter on the DC Volts setting, with the red lead on the ring and the black lead on the sleeve. You should see 0 volts. If there is a reading, there's your issue. Hope this helps!
