Moog Guitar pushed back again

Post by Gamaliel » Fri Oct 17, 2008 1:15 pm

I just heard from my guy at Sweetwater that the Moog guitar is being pushed back til the middle of Dec.
I waited this long and paid in full so another month and a half won't kill me.It's still a bummer tho.

I was just going to ask if anyone has had their Moog Vo Guitar delivered recently. Guess the last post answers my question. Look at the bright side though. Maybe the delay will enable Moog to add some inprovements to the guitar. Also, it will enhance the mood of Chanukkah/Christmas/Kwanzaa/other holiday, when that big box arrives at your door during the gift giving season. Wouldn't it be nice if the real reason for the delay was because Moog just needs a little more time to retrofit the robot tuners and the digital divided pickups to the guitars and more time to print the $1000 mail in rebate coupons.

OK, guess I was just having fun with some well deserved delusions of grander for my guitar. Always great communicating with you Gamaliel.

*sigh* I was going to post this information myself, but was too depressed about it.

On the bright side, I received my custom built 13 to 24 pin Roland bus converter. So when the Vo is in my hot little hands, I can immediately saddle it with a GK-3 and use it with my GR300. :)

I am such a geek.
