"Zon" Preset Help
Hello fellow users, Could I get some help for a new Voyager rookie. I just bought an Anniversary Voyager and was trying to locate the "Zon" presets. I'm not sure I understand if they are on my machine, or if they need to be downloaded? Could someone help me out? Thanks........
Hello fellow rookie. The AE has a different bank of presets to the performer.
check your manual's list against the manual on this site, which, last time I looked, had Zon's stuff on it.
Downloads are not something I've tried, but I think that the Zon stuff should be downloadable from this site.Other topics in this forum cover the pleasures and perils of downloading, Sysex, preferred freeware etc. Almost every contributor here knows more than me!!
Good Luck.

Thanks..
Thanks for the help. I did verify with Moog that the Zon presets are on the AE. If you reset to factory settings, the Zon's will be loaded and you will lose the AE presets. I might try some downloading later when I become more familiar with the Voyager......Mike
Does this mean the AE is holding 256 presets ie two banks of 128 ? If you reset to Zon can you reset again to restore the AE presets?I did verify with Moog that the Zon presets are on the AE. If you reset to factory settings, the Zon's will be loaded and you will lose the AE presets
Does the OS revert to an earlier version when you reset to Zon?
I know that maybe Moog didn't give you the answers, if not, please post how you get on if you choose to go Zon.Thanks.

Here is what Steve Dunnington from Moog wrote me: So as I understand this, yes there must be 2 banks of presets in the AE. Hope this helps........Mike
Michael -
If you read in the AE user's manual p.42 - it describes the process to get Zon's sounds in your instrument without MIDI - It will erase the AE bank in your Voyager. if you want the AE bank back in the Voyager you have to load it through MIDI (SysEx) -
(p.40 Receive Presets) - Go to the AE Voyager page and click on the "Software" link next to the picture of the AE Voyager. You'll see files for download...
