A New Patch Discovery! Too Good to Keep Secret!

Post by Voltor07 » Wed Sep 17, 2008 5:28 pm

While messing around last night, I discovered that when you run a cable from the Noise to S&H on the CP-251, S&H Out to Audio In on MF-102, Audio Out to Audio In on MF-103, Audio Out from MF-103 to Audio In of LP, you can create some far-out harmonics! Just thought I'd share.

Why would you use a cable for Noise > S&H, it's patched that way internally. ;)

It should also be noted I have a cable from Attenuator 2 to Input 1 of the four input mixer, another cable from square wave of the LFO to input of Attenuator 1, out to four input mixer Input 2, with the output + going to the LP via Pitch CV. Also, Attenuator 2 is externally controlled by my homemade potentiometer bank, as is the LFO.

Actually, I plan to post a video on YouTube after my LP gets back from the factory for repairs and blue button lights. I'll post a thread as soon as that happens. I'm in a really good mood as Amos has E-mailed me really good news about the cost of repair/modification. I may not even have to work overtime this pay period!

Just to let everyone know, my LP will be going back to the factory this upcoming Monday, so I'll be posting a video of this setup sometime week after next, or later depending on how long it takes for repairs and mods to be made. Also, I hope to finish the multicolored wheel circuit Kevin Lightner designed, so that I can get that installed the day the LP comes back. No guarantees, though.
