Post by Hal_McGee » Wed Sep 17, 2008 4:02 am

Hal McGee recorded live 11:51 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Micro Show II, The Real Tiny Deal fest, Action Research show #29, Story House, 11 SE 5th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida. Filmed by Camelia Carnahan. McGee on Sony M-100C microcassette recorder manipulations of sounds of circuit bent Casio SK-1, SK-5, and Rapman, plus shortwave radio and field recordings of machine sounds -- processed through a Moog MF-107 FreqBox (analog oscillator module frequency-modulated and hard-synced by the microcassette recorder), with feedback modulation.

Awesome! I take it you're a fan of John Cage? That kinda reminds me of something he would do. I love the sheer noise. Like Nirvana style.
