Whishlist for future Phatty OS please post whishes in here

there are some things i would love to see in a future OS for the phatty :

1 - ARP easier accessable. Maybe a combo of 2 keys to turn on the arp instead of going into so many sub menus.

2 - ARP settings storeable in the patch

3 - ARP sending out notes enable/discable function

4 - White noise :D :D i guess this is not possibl via software, but that would be awesome :D :D

- add more patterns (maybe user defined) to the arp.
- ability to assign different destinations to the arp such as the filter.

Having patterns for the arp that aren't of the same note length (swing?)?

Is there any easy way to do MIDI latch or did I miss it?

Ideally I would be able to press 3 keys down, have that arp play, and then play on my other keyboard, then go back and press down another set of keys and have the arp change. Basically, Moog accompanyment. If that's already doable, great, I am just not sure how to access it.

Velocity sensitivity that affects volume instead of just the filter could be very nice to have too.

Hmm, I just found latch, turned it on, and it didn't do anything that I can tell.

Can someone give me some instructions for getting latch to work like I think it does?

Enable LATCH in the advanced presets.
If you've already done that, press the STORE/ENTER button in preset mode while the arppegiator is running.

I'm cool with everything but I really need a legato glide mode... no glide with short notes and glide when notes overlap. irregardless of ENV trigger mode to have the option of having envelopes re trigger or not.

It'd be a very nice feature. It's supossed to be already on the wish list, if I remember right, and since it shouln't be very difficult to implement I guess we'll see it sooner or later.

I realized yesterday that its not in the Voyager either... I guess if your using an analog sequencer that has slide(glide) on a per note basis then you don't need that mode in the LP or the Voyager to exist as long as your going CV GATE into them, but if your using a MIDI sequencer you have to have it, as all the sequencer will send is a slight overlap for legato on that selected note... and velocity for accent.

Accent in most analog sequencers of the step type is available as an output, so that can be sent to the VCA as CV and get that extra "velocity" bump per note.

but It be awesome to use some of these new MIDI sequencers like the NEMO or the Schrittmacher on Moog gear and have it really do nice organic patterns "drools"

it would be nice to be able to change the note divisions of the arp with the rate knob, when in sync mode.

(i also agree with a previous post about having swing/shuffle option, that would be a really great addition!)
