Inverter 'cable' for 351+352 ?
I'm planning to buy the 351 and 352 to powerup my Moog RME with some semi-modular patching.
The one thing which is conspicuous by it's absence is an inverter. I know the CP251 has this but I don't reckon I need 90% of the functionality of that unit.
So has anyone ever seen or know a good DIY design for an "inverter cable"? It would be great to just be able to patch an inversion between the 351 and 352.

I thought that too for a long time until I watched the first Sonic Infinity DVD.chombymook wrote: I know the CP251 has this but I don't reckon I need 90% of the functionality of that unit.
You might be able to find some attenuators from radio shack or some other DIY site like musicfromouterspace.com or some place like that.
Of corse if you want to really expand on the modular stuff in the future (which modular components tend to demand expansion) then you might want to get a MOOG 995 Attenuator from moogce.com. Price would be 220+15 for shipping then perhaps 100 for a desktop power supply that coudl handle several additional modules. Then youd get a rack frame and some blank panels from synthesizers.com and start building yourself a rack based modular system. I don't know if synthisizers.com makes an attenuator or not.
heres a link to the most up to date pricelist that I got from moogce.com

You are talking about an attenuator right? Or are you referring to the 4 channel mixer that will produce negative voltages?

I think I hear the mothership coming.

Hi, yeah I do mean a inverter for negative voltages, rather than attenuators (4 of which on the 351+352 should be enough for most things I reckon)
So I can have an LFO 180deg out of phase or a negative envelope etc. Something I do a lot with other synths.
I am indeed intending for this to become part of a more fully featured modular system although I would go the Eurorack route rather than Frac or MOTM formats.

This schematic looks really easy to put together. And pretty cheaply, too.
