Yes, it seems they're continuing the "UPS truck in New Mexico" color scheme. :)

But now, a bad joke....

What do you call a small Minimoog worn on your belt and listened to through headphones?

A Rick Walkman.

Yeah, looks really nice! Well done!

:D

But it's a bit scary - that guy with the wires and the moogerfoogers looks like Karl Marx attached to a life-support system. Freaks me out!

I think the old site was much better as it was a single page design with all the relevant links etc from there. Now you have to go to connect and then select the forum from another menu. Also the overall look just looks and feels cheaper to me than the old site. Its much harder and more awkward to find the info you are after!

Change it back pls!!!

I don't visit much, but it threw me off trying to find the forum link today.

Generally you want your product and other links in the main click area, not over in the sidebar, and for this, a drop down DHTML menu would work great.

The collage stuff in the middle doesn't provide me much info.

I was also having problems locating the link to the forum, so I now saved the Forum main page as a Favorite in Windows Explorer, so I do not have to go through the Moog site to get to the forum.

I liked the older site design, as it was one page with dropdowns that could get you to any of the info that you needed. I do not like to navigate through pages on a site to get the information that I want. I also find it hard to read the topics along the top of the screeen with the new brown color scheme and border.

So in the end, I will not visit their site very often after these changes, which was probably not their intent on the re-design. How about designing more MF pedals instead of the site re-design? I had not heard of any negative comments on the older site design.
MF 102,White MF 103, MF 105B, Minitaur, and an LP Stage II w/ CV Out Mod as well!

You guys don't embrace change much do ya? heheheh

Isn't that indicative of a marketing strategy though? Change things around, get people curious or unfamilliar and then maybe they will see something that they like and buy it?

Kind of like Sams CLub has those "Musical Shelf" rotations that makes it where you only know where the food area is.

I think that the site is starting to look more professional and its starting to match the look of their catalogs.

Man even when I didn't have a menny to my name I often came back to the site just to oogle at the foogers and the Voyager.

ditto, i really dislike this thing, it's buried in menus, took me forever to find the friggin forum link. there's alot of weird missing information everywhere too. is the rackmount edition of the voyager discontinued? sure looks like way from the page, since it only shows the peripherals for sale. the cart system doesn't seem fully in place yet either. 's unintuitive to have vertical menus on the right side of the screen too, that's web design 101...
i think this is a big step down from the more evolved look/user-friendliness of the old site.

Well, changes are just that.. changes. Some good some bad.

What I'm curious about is that there doesnt' seem to be any links to MoogSpace. Are they dropping it?

My bookmarked links still work -- but for how long?

Bruce, judging from the input Moog Music did for Moog Space, it was dropped finally a few month ago.
Now that the helpful Yahoo files from many users are only available there, they will get lost finally.
A pity.
The starting of Moog Space was wrong. Asking for a little fee is OK. But asking for a fee and then dropping it in the middle of the first year is real sad and not Moog like at all.

But look at this forum:
it took more then a year till it was not showing the name of the used PHP forum distribution where the Moog logo is now. And free help was offered most likely not be me, but by others too.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16 (sold)

That's really a shame, Till. But I know Moog's a small company so I cut them some slack.

And I am quite aware of the good work that you and others, particularly Greg have done in regards with support with the forum here. Many thanks and I hope that Moog Music recognizes it also.

In the meantime, I've downloaded just about everything I can from the old MoogSpace area, so it won't be lost. 8)

Which I support as well.

Well I've just solved the problem of having to go through extra menus to get to the forum.

I saved the forum URL so I can click on it and come here without having to bring up the main Moog site at all. That also means I don't have two windows open just to look at the forum.

Not very clever of Moog - they've just got a regular visitor to cut their main site out of virtually every visit I make. But there you go. They designed the changed system.
