Hmm! Well it is beautiful. Really fine work of art. I can't find a flaw on it anywhere. I've heard some folks say that they are not fond of the black wood. I dig it. The blue lights are really pleasing to the eye. Aside from the spectacular looks, I am slightly overwhelmed by the controls! Personally I like only a handful of the presets . I have to jump in and make my own patches which is what I was looking forward to in the first place. I get the feeling I'm going to become very pale over the next several months.

If it doesn't work for some reason, go to the main Moog website and select the Minimoog Performer tab. There are three sounds banks (SYX and MID formats), all of which will work in your AE.
As for programming pointers, don't worry about that right now. Spend lots of time just getting to know your new synth. Try each knob and hear what happens to the sound. Be aware that some knobs may not make a sound/difference in sound if they are not part of the actual patch. Have fun, and use the time to explore.
Don't forget the book I recommended. It will help immeasurably.
Rock on!

I didn’t care too much for the patches stored when I received my AE, even the ones stored on ROM.
Tips…the best way to start is to set up a default initialize patch (I mentioned this before so if you’ve read you can stop here). I set this up on 120 close to the diagram in the manual. I also disable the T.S controller for this patch. Reserve 121-127 for your patch creation/progress. This is good because sometimes you’ll create a patch that wasn’t as good as before and if you just keep overwriting it could be a pain because you can’t go back (unless you remembered the settings from the patch or two before). Once you got a patch you like save it any other number than the ones above. Do this until you fill up the whole bank, backup and just repeat the process.
Other tips…use Pot Mapping. A popular one for me is to use the Key Pitch (source) to track the Filter Cutoff (destination).
Also the reason for disabling the T.S is it will force you to think of what do you want to control other than the default settings.
Have fun with your Voyager!

I appreciate everyone's advice! I've made a few patches that satisfy me. My main problem is I can't seem to 'subtract' some of the stuff I want. When I start tweaking knobs around I get the sound I want plus other stuff that I would like to cut out or at least change slightly. The problem is I just don't know what the hell I am doing yet
I am having a blast though and have found a few sounds usable in my home recording projects already. I am already wondering though if some of the sounds I'm looking for are even possible on the mini. I was hoping to get the Sigur Ros or Bjork moody kind of stuff going. I know strings are not a strong point, but maybe I should try working with the pads? Thanks for the help!
