Guitar Distortion Pedal

Post by Hutschi » Fri Feb 16, 2007 8:20 am

I put a distortion pedal of a guitar between the Etherwave Theremin and the amplifier.

The change was interesting, very different to the distortion of the guitar sound.

It did not sound distorted but the distortion amplifier changed the sound characteristic.

Best regards
Bernd

Hi Bernd,

If you really want a wierd sound, use an Electro Harmonix Bass Balls pedal. Its a twin Dynamic Filter, so its like you can control the filter sweep with the left hand. It sounds great, and it will boose the sound so much that you can hear strange ghost tones from the volume antenna at high high volumes, just immediately outside the oscilator range from the pitch antenna.
