Mininmoog model D on top of that (when it's not in the shop - it's a bit too old tour around with).
A properly serviced and maintained Mini should have no problem being toured with.
My God, Kevin! You just can't go around passing on information such as this.

How can we keep justifying the purchase of new stuff to our wifes, when you go around telling people that their old stuff will work just fine??
Thanks Bob!!

You don't need new synths, just new wives.

I used my 28 year old Minimoog live last weekend. And no problems to transport it 450 miles to and from the concert. I use a special made flight case for it.

And I have again to confess that my Minimoog is way more stable in pitch (after 10 min warm up) then a less then 5 year old Vermona Perfourmer of my music friend playing with me in Eindhoven/The Netherlands.

And even the 31 year old ELKA Rhapsody 610 was doing fine on stage. But it had some problems the day before. Again on the big resistor for the top octave divider power supply through voltage dividing by this resistor.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16 (sold)

My special all-in-one - plug. MIDI in and out as well as audio L and R run through this monster. I used to have one of these built into all four of my keyboards, but I just couldn't get over me to carpent around on the Voyager and the Ion :)

I gig with my 1971 RA Moog Minimoog and it works fine. I hot-rodded the control circuit on the VCO card to hold the thing in tune - and left the audio circuits alone, can't mess with the sonority of those things!

Not at all. I used properly shielded multicore cable, of course.

Great rigs guys! I'm using two moogerfoogers on my pedalboard. I use this board in my band, i play guitar.. I'm also using the effects to run audio trough them, i love to mess around in Ableton Live. I can run audio from Ableton trough the Moogs.

I would love to get a Moog synth one day. The Little Phatty is really cool and affordable, just not right now ;)

cheers!

Also I am using some downloaded software for recording/drums/music that will remain nameless that was aquired on the Jolly Roger style.

PC based studio hardware is currently being built my my partner.

I try to play as much as i can on all of these instruments, some more difficult than others. I grew tired of trying to rely opn the dedication of other people to a certian project so I opted to learn other instruments myself for the purpose of writing and recording albums.

THere is other atuff that I am going to aquire in time.

Baldwin upright piano
Moog Voyager (2-3 months)
whatever ebay miracles occur

There you have it.
Eric

I have to update the list.

I no longer have the Voyager

I upgraded my drumkit to 17 pieces with a full set of Peace Octabans

I put an OSP 22 space rack cabinet on Layaway last week.

I purchased a Moog 921a Osc Driver Module from moogce.com and the rack cabinet is for the modular synth that im building.

My goal is to get about 11 more modules from Mike, re-aquire a Voyager, the 2 expansion boxes and get all the stuff racked and ready to crank out some pure fatness.

Should be within the next year Ill have the Voyager.

Besides making music, I also like to listen to music (and play it on parties) which is a difficult thing to combine with an ever expanding studio.
