Hello,
yes this is an update; there is supposed to be an updated README file which I have been too busy to complete. I'll add it very soon. For now:
If you have any questions you can ask them here and I'll post answers for everyone's benefit. Cheers!

NEW STUFF in v470 vs. previous release:
Pitch Bend DOWN calibration improved
Note Calibration routine improved:
Better tuning of very high notes, better unison between oscillators 1 and 2
Octave Up/Down CC# redefined to CC 89; was formerly CC 76 which conflicted with the Voyager Osc.3 Octave CC.
Firmware Upgrade process improved:
New 5-stage load process is more robust and tolerant of transfer errors during upgrade.
If you have any questions you can ask them here and I'll post answers for everyone's benefit. Cheers!

Yes the tribute is still being supported; it just hasn't had an update written yet. I'm sure there will be one as soon as there is time to write/test it; things are very busy with new product development right now.
The current v470 does not load on the LP Tribute; it's only for the Stage. The tribute will get an update, so be patient...

You, uh, tried to, um, load an update for the Stage Edition into the, um, Tribute Edition?

be VERY VERY careful with this... if you had previously updated your tribute edition to TE OS v1.02c or later, I think you'll be fine. By that point we had added a hardware ID to each OS version so that you could not actually load the OS onto the wrong model hardware. However if you have a Tribute Edition with the very first 1.02 OS on it, you can load the Stage OS onto it by mistake. This is no fun as it results in a blank display as the most obvious symptom. Don't worry, you can load the correct OS back on there but it's annoying and the other forum members will sympathise but may still mock you openly. So... be careful, is all I'm saying, and read all instructions and file names before updating your OS.
If you think that this scenario has happened to you (you've loaded the Stage firmware into your LP Tribute and now it doesn't boot up normally) email me directly for a special problem-fixing firmware version. I don't want to post this special fix-it firmware for public download, as it would only cause more confusion.

I just finally got around to loading the last OS improvement to my Tribute over the weekend. No troubles..... I will have to keep my eyes open for the next one.
I noticed that there is a new installation program that you can download with the OS. What was wrong with Midiox? I have had no problem with that.
