hello to everybody,
this is my 1st post and I'm an Italian musician who is a moog fan; please excuse my bad english.
I read all the post for moogerfoogers and Little Phatty (I've got a Tribute one), but I didn't find the answer for my question.
The question is simple, I've a rack of moogerfooger that is powered with a power supply for each moogerfooger (3 pedals), I've also a rack of CP-251 (wth 2 units) that I want to get powered with only 1 power supply (using a daisy chain power supply).
Do you think that this solution will generate noise ?
if CP-251 control only voltage I think that a daisy chain power supply for only the 2 CP's will not generate noise but I'm not sure.
thank'you very much
Alessandro

One thing that you MIGHT want to try is to see if you can plug some of it into a different power outlet. I have heard that trying to put so much stuff into 1 outlet can generate noise. For example plugging your amps into a different plug than your pedals or be sure not to have any fans running on the same outlet.
If none of that works, then im sure that you can get some cort of compression going, OR maybe get something like a compression unit to try and filter out some of that noise.
Or be sure that you don't have any of the noise paremeters on the CP251 patched hehhe..

I use a One Spot adapter to power the 101, 103, 104z, and CP251. I get a little bit of noise/hum, but nothing serious. Its not loud and I have'nt noticed it making it into my recordings. Oh, and the 102 is using its own adapter. Everything is plugged into a Furman power conditioner, which has some other gear plugged in as well.
