Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.
'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

That a great pic of the 9700 series. Would have been some good marketing for PAIA. Many years ago I built some PAIA modules myself (4700 series? - can't remember).Mr. Incredible wrote:Thank you! Incidently, I once took a quite nice picture (at least I thought it was) of my PAiA 9700 modular which I then edited to fit as a desktop wallpaper and sent it to PAiA for them to offer as a free download. Alas, I never heard back from them.

Forgot to ask you about the stands that are holding up the gear in your studio. They didn't look familiar to me. What are you using?

The stands on my pics above are K&M table-style stands. They're very sturdy and flexible. I think it's a german manufacturer.

That walnut is BEEEEE-utiful!!!!! I am speechless....synthetic wrote:Yes, an Andromeda. I have the Y2K analog power duo.
The walnut on my unit is nicely figured, I was very happy with the woodwork. I also like the vintage/modern combo of having the original walnut with the new blue backlight.
My slightly more pedestrian setup:

Yeah, I know the CP/VX is a bit out of the way, but to tell you the truth I don't use it much anyway. What I wouldn't mind having? The RME with Fire backlighting. I really don't like blue, it is too harsh....

Those are some really nice keyboard stands. About the beefiest I have ever seen, and I like the casters a lot too. Who makes those and where did you find them? Thanks.Marzzz wrote:That walnut is BEEEEE-utiful!!!!! I am speechless....synthetic wrote:Yes, an Andromeda. I have the Y2K analog power duo.
