My new CP-251 w/o red jacks

Thank you gregAE - but I just wanted the "traditional" mooger look and that's why I was asking for... the funtionality of the white rings was quite plain to me...

just for your information - I got it from moog:

Unfortunately they are not directly compatible, as the red nuts are threaded to screw on and the new jacks have ¼-turn “snap-on” nuts that are a slightly different size as well.

yes, the meaning of "snap-on" is exactly that I also do not know - I suppose it is not screwed but plugged-on.

It was not able for me to check it on my CP-251 by a short scan an I don't want to touch him inside.

The new ones are able to invert the signal.

Guys, did I miss something here? I thought there is a +/- knob on the CP-251 which inverts the signal. Is there a newer design?

If so, do the new ones come with white nuts instead of red?

I think it would be cool to have a CP-251/VX-351 combo unit, with a few improvements and layout re-arrangements.

I think what the poster meant is that the attenuators on the new CP-251 can invert the signal. If so, very cool.

PS.: maybe our good fairies at moog should place the new cp-251 users manual PDF at the download section - some little things has changed at the attenuator topic...
