The new expression pedal

i tried it wih a ts cable to my zoom expr. pedal. didnt work.
then i tried to connect it with several potentiometers using a ts cable and some testwires.
log 250 and 500 K and lin 100 K didnt work either.

You will need a TRS cable to use an expression pedal. This is because they are passive (don't have a battery) and so are supplied through the ring terminal from the Moogerfooger.

If however you have an "active" expression pedal, such as the DOD FX-17, then you will only need a TS cable, 'cos it already has its own power supply

Can you try a different wiring with your Zoom pedal?

i get it. thanks a lot latigid on!
i'll try it out.
so the ring and sleeve bit probably have to be switched in the zoom i guess.
plus it has to be made trs compatible. different jackinput probably.

didnt have to solder it worked with a trs-cable(which i had to buy). haha..so thats done. playing it like this is quite hard, cause when i take my foot of this plastic thing it allready moves.
well if i want to play it in a melodic way through the freqbox itself (and not by the instrument, so "sync off"), i guess i have to make myself a big pedal with several pots and momentary stompswitches on it, which are tuned (*with the pots) and i can press with my foot.
mmmm.. i know there's another topic about this, but did anybody try it out?
