Im bored and dreamy...
A few more ideas...
some of these may need to be a double fooger to fit.
Vocoder or talkbox. plausible?
Reverb unit
preamp/distortion
detailed Sample and hold/crazy multiple lfo box
analog drum machine/beat box
sequencer+mixer+patchbay+25 knob covered thing
and i second the idea of a mult moog power supply,

I have some of the same ideas, especially the ideas for the Vocoder and the Analog style sequencer. I wouldn't make the sequencer too large, either the size of the standard MF or a CP 251 size enclosure (helps to keep costs down) and only 8 or 16 steps / knobs with CV ins/outs. This would lead to another MF unit, which would be a Midi to CV (and vice-versa) pedal to allow MFs to control or be controlled by MIDI synths and would also give the Little Phatty some CV outs, which it is mysteriously lacking. A simple analog style monophonic sequencer also makes some sense for being able to create and tweak bass lines in a very simple manner when playing live.
Another ideas would be some type of cabinet or enclosure to mount multipe MFs and a CP-251 (or two) that can be used as a floor unit or as a table top unit. This is where the multi-adapter for all of the Moog products in the enclosure would make a lot of sense.
I can at least dream about it, can't I?

Oh, and before I forget, the ultimate Fooger for us Bass and Guitar players: A Pich to CV converter! Something that is similar in concept to the Analogue Systems RS-35 with built-in filters to improve performance, but in a floor mounted MF enclosure.
This would open up new avenues for us to control the MF 102 and MF 107, as well as the Voyager, LP, and vintage CV synths.
This would also potentially benefit vocalists and horn players as well, as we could use our native instrument as a synth / noise controller and we would not be limited by our relative lack of keyboard abilities.

MF 102,White MF 103, MF 105B, Minitaur, and an LP Stage II w/ CV Out Mod as well!

Voltage Controlled Flanger.

Yes, please! Although, the EHX Flanger Hoax is very nice.analoghaze wrote:Voltage Controlled Flanger.
There is definitely a market for one of these. Even the Electrix Warpfactory is digital...Vocoder or talkbox. plausible?
You mean a spring reverb tank? I know there's a Fender unit available, and many/most guitar amps have one. I don't think there's much more you can do with reverb, so maybe not.Reverb unit
... c'mon, there are 23 million of these around.preamp/distortion
Care to explain this one? If you have a Voyager and 'foogers/CP-251/VX-351, you probably have quite a few LFOs. Plus, the Freqbox can act as a multi-waved LFO too!detailed Sample and hold/crazy multiple lfo box
Everybody wants a Moog drum machine. I think there is a lot out there already (e.g. I use JoMoX stuff, and it is truely excellent).analog drum machine/beat box
With the Frostwave Fat Controller now discontinued, a sequencer might be very useful indeed.sequencer+mixer+patchbay+25 knob covered thing

I hope you are correct, one is in route to me right now. Seems very cool.
I will try it with my Voyager.

Re: wish list
ditto, i think a chorus/flange is by far the most likely and useful fooger to hit next. I'm boggled one didn't come out before the murf, really. I think it'd look similar to the phaser unit:analoghaze wrote:Voltage Controlled Flanger.
Knobs:
LFO AMT

MIX
FEEDBACK +/-
Switches:
LFO LO (flange)/ HI (chorus)
(something else???)

I'd suggest DELAY TIME in place of MIXCTRLSHFT wrote:ditto, i think a chorus/flange is by far the most likely and useful fooger to hit next. I'm boggled one didn't come out before the murf, really. I think it'd look similar to the phaser unit:analoghaze wrote:Voltage Controlled Flanger.

You could switch between two LFO waveforms or add a sweeo control a la MF-103. That way you could send it any LFO shape you liked...
Re: wish list
That would be cool but to be honest I think that Dave Smith and Roger Linn are more the type to do that...I mean...they are doing it...but a Moog drum machine although interesting sounding...just doesn't seem to fit in with their history, ya know what I mean?Everybody wants a Moog drum machine. Analoghaze...would love to hear the Flanger Hoax on some stuff...where is your music? You have anything on a site to check out?
Minimoog Voyager Performer Edition + LP Stage II + Sub37 + Model D reissue + CP-251 + VX-351
Re: wish list
ah yes, thats what i forgot..delay time! we could still keep the mix knob and put it in the middle under the drive knob. different waveforms would be great.latigid on wrote:I'd suggest DELAY TIME in place of MIXCTRLSHFT wrote:ditto, i think a chorus/flange is by far the most likely and useful fooger to hit next.
