I just got finished doing a webpage about the Syntar and had a cool pic of Bob Moog giving it a whirl at NAMM :D

AWesome story.. Sucks that the Liberation kinda pulled the carpet out so to speak, but it wasn't Bob or Herb's fault, I'm sure. Money hungry Norlin probably...

Herb's a businessman, he saw an idea he could use and ran with it. Bob had already been frozen out of Moogmusic by then so he had nothing to do with it...he couldn't help George out anyway as he had signed a noncompete agreement...Bob said it was one of the worst things he had ever done...thats part of how he lost the rights to use his own name...etc...

Obviously the current Moogmusic is Bob's baby, not to be confused with the one from the late 70s / early 80s...
