Any good photos of Select Series?

Post by synthetic » Wed Jun 13, 2007 1:39 pm

I'm trying to decide between 1. Blue/Mahagony, 2. Blue/Walnut and 3. Blue/Cherry. The photos on the Moog site are tiny, and there don't seem to be many out there. Does anyone have good pics of these combinations?

I found #3 on the Nova Music site and #1 on the Sweetwater site. I can't believe that more people haven't snapped shots of these beauties. Thanks.

While I'm at it, does anyone still have the high res rendering of the Electric Blue panel "at night?" Moog used to have it on their site but it's gone now.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards blue/walnut. A little old, a little new. :)

So if anyone has seen pics of this combo, please let me know. I'll post my own after a few months of saving. :)

I sent an email several months ago to Moog suggesting that it would be a good idea to put some decent photos of the Select Series models on their site. Why not give people some nice pix to drool over?

It's nice that they allow you to mix/match woods and backlight colors on their site, but the resulting pictures are tiny. Hardly compelling.

C'mon, Moog folks. I know you're a small company, but I'll send buy you a digital camera. Just take some pix of Select Voyagers coming out of the factory.

Some decent audio and video demos would be cool, too. REALLY.

This is not rocket science. :)

I'll post some pics in about a month. Just two or three more paychecks... :)

But yeah, you would think they would have better pics of what is essentially a luxury item.

Ugh, my savings went back down to zero, so the savings begins once again.

In the meantime, I finally found a pic of the walnut/blue select series I was looking for. I made it into a silly desktop picture so that I can stare at my future precious. I figured I'd share if anyone wants a new desktop:

Just received my Voyager back from Moog. Some quick photos. Essentially a select series now.

wow thats a pretty amazing looking synth. Did you have your voyager modded for the indigo panel? Or where did you buy it, 'cause I cannot find any places that sell the indigo?

It is indigo with indigo wheels.
Sam Ash in NYC has an Indigo with black body. I believe they are the only retailer with Indigo.
