Voyager Signature doesn't have a backlight...

The Voyager was pretty much the same (although it wasn't something that caused an audible difference). There's no blue/colored backlight on it, and you can't upgrade it to such. But that's fine. I love mine as it is, and I wouldn't trade it for the newest custom voyager with the Version 3.0 upgrade board in it.

The Tribute has more RAC controls than the Stage as well as physical trimmers inside so the differences cut both ways.

Both are great synths.

The Tribute does a LOT more than when I got it - it now has Noise, S&H, selectable filter slope, key triggering and custom velocity sensitivity per patch! Kind of makes it hard for me to be too upset...the new OS really kicks ass! :D

...and its still a real beaut!
