MuRF power-on state

Post by canec » Tue Dec 13, 2005 12:34 am

hi, i want to know if there's a way to modify the MuRF power-on state somehow, like this: when I power on the MuRF unit, i want the "default" to be that the MuRF effect is OFF, then later when I press (or step on) the stomp switch then the effect is ON (instead of powering up the unit, and having to switch off the effect right away.) Yes, I use the MuRF effects, but not all the time, and i don't want the effect ON straight away when I power the MuRF up; i wish the effect was off until i needed it, then i can switch the effect on later.

does this make sense to anyone? basically, upon power-up, i want the MuRF to be in Bypass mode first thing- thanks to anyone who either sympathizes with me, or has a bold solution!

MurF 105 switching

i guess the only way to switch this effect "off" at startup is to use an A-B box, or a true bypass switcher. Eh, I'm getting a little frustrated with this effect in my rig... anybody want to buy a slightly used MurF 105???
