Using MIDI-OX to update LP Firmware

Post by paf3 » Mon Feb 26, 2007 7:10 pm

If you are using MIDIOX, go to Options/Configure Buffers and make sure they are set to size=1024, Num=128. Thanks to Amos at Moog for the useful tip, really got me out of a jam when the SysEx transfer hung up and trashed my firmware.

I may sound stupid, but I was seriously wondering; will the os update S&H be versatile enough to choose the source? For example, instead of just using noise to make random sounds, can you use osc 2 or EGR or other sources? I might end up having to wait until the update comes out to finally get my answer, but thanks just the same.

interesting idea! i have a feeling thought that the s&h can only modulate the targets since the rate and amount are still based on the lfo settings.

Haha it's March already Amos. :)

I think you guys should release the buggy beta code so that we can b*tch about that the way we're b*tching about the extra mod routing that we're not getting. Then we can have a contest to see which thread get's the most posts and the people in that thread get free LP Stages for our pain. :)

By the way...how is that update coming? ;)

I see no need to turn this into an Ableton Live forum.
