Not true in my case. I ordered it earlier this week (after this thread psyched me up) - noticed the Sam Ash price online - called MF, the guy looked it up on the spot, got approval, made the price adjustment, my credit card has been charged the $235 and the item is out for delivery as I type. He looked it up on their web site so he would have seen the "not in stock" notation but it never came up in our conversation. If you read the MF policy is says nothing about an item needing to be in stock for them to match a price.

UPS finally delivered at 830 last night - that's insane! This pedal is really nice with the Voyager. It really sounds wonderful. I ended up jamming for about 4 hours with it before I realized I was falling asleep. Really adds a sonic quality that the Voyager doesn't have on its own and really makes a great complement. The chorus can be a bit much when turned up past 6 oclock (off is about 5 oclock) but at low levels it sounds amazing.

For what it's worth, I have the V hooked up through a Fuzz Factory and then into the DMM - I couldn't be happier with the tones that I can produce now with this setup. Very nice stuff.

Thanks for starting this thread - it really helped me pick a great unit!

I also need it shipped via USPS... I live alone, don't trust anyone in my building, and don't drive...so, unless I take a day off to get UPS...I have to use the US POstal Service....who will hold the package. Ebay is just easier for me these days.

really the best delay with the voyager, IMO, is a good tape delay. I have a roland space chorus echo and an old solid state echoplex and they create some absolutely awesome sounds with the voyager! The moog delay is cool too but tape delays tend to keep a bit more of the high end intact (not like a digital delay though) and that can help with keeping a bit more clarity to your sound. Of course, a VX-351 and a moog delay patched into it is probably the coolest option because you can control the delay's parameters with the touch pad and mod wheeels: definately not the cheapest option though! Although if you were worried about cheap options you probably wouldn't have bought a voyager in the first place!

I agree. A good tape echo really makes for an incredible mixture. I picked up and am using a Fulltone Tube Tape Echo. Quiet and warm. Mmmm.

Did you ever get the Y-cable?
Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.

'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

Can anyone post a sound example of this combo?

A quick and dirty sample...ignore the clams. Just a few Voyager stock patches...anytime you hear wild pitch shifts it's turning the knobs (delay time usually) on the DMM. Anytime you hear the Pink Floyd/Motorcycle type sound it's cranking the feedback on the DMM and letting it ride. Backing off the feedback causes the sound to diminish. The best example of this is at the end of the sample. Mind you, you can also set it and forget it and use it as a normal-sounding delay which you can hear a few times in this demo. Bottom line is the DMM can be "played" or "played through" - either way it sounds great IMO. The chorus can also be used to give it that "tape echo" feel.
