Take a listen at my web-site to my 1st composition using the Moogerfooger Ring Modulator (along with several other effects). It's called "ePuccalo#1".
I've named my new sound/instrument the "ePuccalo" and I'm very happy with the range of tones I'm now getting with my rack and pedals (see picture there as well).
I've just completed mastering my 3rd composition called "ePuccalicous" and will post it soon as well (#2 is a short one that I sent to a synth competition). All of these are live, single track recordings using a looper...no overdubbing here and all sounds are from my mouth except the taping, which is my ring finger on a sensitive Rode condenser (I finally found a use for a mic without good body isolation).
The comments from this group were much appreciated. I wasn't able to find useful sounds with the Murf and Phaser, but it's not their fault as my pure whistling tone doesn't give them much to work with. I'm using the RM as a sort of compliment to my other effects...gives it an added unworldly edge. I'm only using one pedal to control frequency, as I find I can do the rest of the mods with my hands - I've located the RM in a pull-out rack drawer so it's easy to deal with.
Comments...suggestions...I look forward to your posts.
Ciao!
