ring mod. w/ murf
Hello, can i use the carrier in and the carrier out on the ring mod. with the murf? if so, how? thanks in advance
You can take the ring mod's carrier out and plug it into the MuRF's audio in or you could take the ring mod's carrier out and plug it back into the ring mod's audio in and then take the ring mod's audio out and plug it into the MuRF's audio in. The combination of the two equals a nice little sound machine. Experiment with different settings!

Good deal!the droning sunn wrote:theglyph, i tried it out and i got some awesome sounds just with the two moogs into my amplifier. i wasnt using the guitar, i guess thats what you were suggesting. i got some erie theremin type sounds from the ring mod.i hope i dont fry anything! thanks
I don't think you need to worry about frying anything. I use this combo with my Voyager and other foogers and I havn't run into any problems.
One more thing to try is taking the ring mod's LFO out and using it in place of the carrier with the setup I had mentioned previously. Just crank the LFO's rate up into the audio range and things can get interesting.
Cheers!
