Help getting started with MF-102

Post by biggestriff666 » Tue Dec 26, 2006 11:16 pm

How do I get the drive to go yellow...it's just not lighting up at all.

I'm new to Moogerfoogers, so maybe I'm not doing something right?

if it's all red, and you have the drive knob all the way down, the level of the incoming signal is too hot. Try dropping the level from your instrument coming into the unit.

if it's all green, crank it up until you get a yellow/flickering red color.

hope that helps!

Make sure you are sending it an audio signal. Any electric guitar or synth out shoud be able to make that light flicker. If not, try using different cables. I'm assuming you have the right power source for your MF.

it's the power adaptor that came with the stomp box.

maybe it's a low output coming from my guitar? i tried it with a tele, maybe i'll try my les paul?

i should plug the guitar inti 'audio in' right?

i've gotten it to flickr green why the pedal has not been bypassed.

I've just received my new MF102.

A stupid question:

When the rate of the LFO is at MINI and Amount at MINI : the LFO ' light is RED fix...... when I turn the LFO 's Rate clockwise the FIxed red light began to oscillate.

Is it normal that the LFO Light is fixed on the RED even when the RATE is very Low?

:)

Thanks

This seems perfectly normal. If you look closely at the LFO LED when you set the rate at, say 12 o'clock, you'll notice that the LED blinks (indicating the actual rate) but never goes completely off. This behavior, when combined with a very low RATE setting, gives the appearance of the LED never going off at all.
