Where can I get patch cords?

Post by monads » Thu Apr 01, 2004 12:24 pm

I know it's probably a dumb question, but evertime I search an online music store for "patch cords" I get zero results. From my understanding there are different types of patch cords? I just want to send CVs using my CP-251 and Voyager.

A regular guitar cable (1/4") should work. Any music store should carry a good assortment of cables, from 1ft to 30ft. Definitely not speaker cables though. Hope this helps!!

Thanks. I didn't know I could use a guitar cable. Does it matter if it's a Gold contact or not? I know for audio it makes a difference.

No, you don't need expencieve golden cables.... :-)
Just take normal cables, as shorter as possible, depence wher your other CV/Gate - stuff is located.

Golden Tips make mostly sence on a golden Ring, i use them mostly for some high end finalizing stuff.
