Firmware versions

Post by rachel » Wed Oct 11, 2006 9:27 pm

How will I know what Firmware rev I got with my MLP?

Did the ones that came OS get the latest rev?

How hard is it to get the latest one, if I do not have it?

Inquiring minds need to know!

When you power the Lp up it gives you the current Os/firmware version. The later the serial number the more up to date the os. Im sure moog will add a download section on the LP page at some point for os upgrades.

I believe that the latest OS is V 102c. It has at least one bug in it...see my thread about Low Note Priority Bug. It is not a big deal however, and most people will not even notice it. My LP has been rocking for a couple of weeks now, with no other problems.

Wait until you get yours. Pictures do not do it justice. It is a beautiful little synth. All quality with a capitol Q!
Thanks Bob!!

Now I have all my system problems out of the road, I love it!
The sound is very strong. In comparison to my Model D, the sound is
more "precise" with the stretched tuning of my old Mini being something to do
with it, I guess. I like the keyboard. It's a Yamaha, isn't it? It feel almost
identical to my DX-7-II's which is nice. And I just love the future retro look!
