Hi!
I recently purchased a MiniMoog Voyager, and I would very much like to apply a delayed vibrato on some of my patches. (Perfect for live playing, when the second hand is occupied with playing another keyboard, and thus not having to use the modwheel for expressive playing.)
To clarify: I want the note to start out with a fast/medium attack and not vibrating, then after a second or something start to vibrate in pitch (with LFO Triangle). - this without touching the modwheel while playing the Voyager.
Is this possible?
Thanks!
Delayed vibrato possible on the Voyager?
There are a few ways you could do this.
1. If you have version 2 software, you can use pot mapping to assign your vibrato to the keyboard aftertouch. Then you just apply aftertouch whenever you want the vibrato on.
2. If you want it to fade in automatically, just use the envelope shaping on the Mod Busses. (Use the Pedal/On Bus to set up your vibrato, then set the Shaping switch to Filter Envelope and adjust the envelope to get the right amount of attack on the vibrato.)
3. I'm sure there are more ways to do this, but these are the first ones that came to mind. Anyone want to add?
