a moogerfooger do the tom morello feedback manip.?

is there a moogerfooger out there that can do the feedback manipulation trick that tom morello does on sleep now by the fire? i can sort of do it on the LPF but can something say, the ring modulator, do it alot better with tasteful results?

Didn't he use an Ebow and his faulty pickup switch? Or something?

I did not know that it his pick up selector was faulty. I just knew that he flipped it back and fourth while dragging the pick along the strings and or also tapping the string(s) onto the pickup.

Anyways, does he not need to use certain fx in combination with the pick up selector switching trick.

I don't play guitar, I'm just trying help the original poster with getting the correct answer.

The first two RATM albums are the only ones worth listening to IMHO.
