What music style is your LP going to play?

Post by KingBarbarossa » Mon Oct 02, 2006 2:32 pm

I am curious what all the happy Little Phatties are going to play now that so many already found there home.

Let's vote and see...

I think this poll does not allow multiple votes, so just select, what you think is closest to what you use your LP for.

I couldn't find a choice for "Powerpop" so I went with Rock.
The Phatty came at a perfect time for me. I'm currently writing for my band's full length debut and the LP is going to saturate the next record.

Give us a listen if you're into bands like The Rentals, Weezer, The Get Up Kids, or Motion City Soundtrack. And I drop those names very loosely.

Currently all songs on our MySpace feature either the MG-1 or Prodigy, but new tunes will appear as they get written.

Let's see, that's TWO categories for electronica and none for blues, jazz, worship, hip hop, classical, or world, just to name a few?

Sheesh...

well, believe it or not, the smart people who programmed this forum did not allow more poll choices. i had to take choices off to be able to post anything at all. so just add on in a posting what you are playing.

i thought electronica is a close bet to anyone who own a synth and classical might be a little far fetched or at least rare, maybe you are thinking of something modern, experimental. or classical adaptions maybe but they can often be found in prog rock or electronica (again)... or it is just a matter of view. anyway, there weren't any more slots open to put in more choices.

Maybe that last polling option should have been called "all styles", meaning "I play many styles of music, including some of the categories listed here, but don't wish to be identified with just one style of music".

Since this is a poll, put me down for that category.

I didn't know there were different kinds of electronica. The only kind I know is GARBAGE w/ Shirley Manson.

Hip-hop should definitely be on the list.

I'd like to hear blues with a Moog in it. Might actually make me like Blues.

I'm going to use the LP for mostly indie-rock or all-moog compositions, which are fun. Maybe some radio-production as well. This is of course once I get an LP. I'm planning the bank robbery now.
