Voyager/moogerfooger lowpass filter
Voyager/moogerfooger lowpass filter
Question - How do I use the Moogerfooger Lowpass filter with the Voyager. Did I make a mistake getting this device? Isn't this redundant to use it with the voyager? Anyone else get this thing too. I got it because I thought it should be part of the modular rig. Please reply honestly, thanks.
You can never have too many filters!
Depending on what else is in your rig, there are many ways to use the 101 with the VGer.
The 101 is really 3 modules: a LP filter, a sin wave oscillator, and an envelope follower.
I like to use it on the TRS loop after a 102. This could be beneficial with anything on the loop that adds overtones that you may want to attenuate, such a a fuzz box.
Drive the 101 to self oscillation and bring it back in to the mixer on the aux-in. Instant 4th sinwave oscillator. If you have the breakout box, you can control the frequency with the VGer's keyboard - great for sub tones.
Drive the 101 to self-oscillatiion and use as an additional LFO or audio rate modulator. (use the attenuator on the CP251 to fine tune).
Use the 101's envelope follower to use the VGer or some other sound source to modulate something on the VGer that has a CV input.
Create a patch that uses the SPREAD control to create a wide stereo image, hard pan the outputs at your mixer. Connect the audio output with the higher filter frequency to a mult. Connect the mult to the 101 and tune to another frequency in between the other two. Pan this to center in the mix.
Lots of possibilities
