Midi CC Overload

Post by TonyR » Fri Mar 05, 2004 1:32 am

Just wondering what apps you guys have had success with in relation with the MMV controlling software pots. I really wanted the MMV to be able to control the software pots for my creamware pulsar synths but the MMV just makes the pulsar knobs go CRAZY like uncontrolable in the way that one slight move on the moog makes the pulsar knob go 2 full rotations. I also tried with no luck on reaktor 3, reaktor 4 wouldnt "midi learn" but the assigned output # would control the corresponding control ...somewhat . Any way to control this output the MMV seems to send out in massive dosages?

Hi, i also got creamwarecards, so i will test this this weekend.
One thing, i was never happy with the midiports of the pulsar, i never could use them for sysexupdates or so, only to connect a midikeyboard.
Maybe it is a good idea to use another midiport (if you got one)
If it also failes on my site, i will try it with my NOAH EX also...

It was allways in my mind to control MINIMAX with my Voyager javascript:emoticon('8)')
Cool

So Voyager owner, if some of you collected other results with controlling softsynths, tell us your configs!
Thanks,
Stefan

Ive tried with these midi devices: 2 pulsars, sb live, midisport 2x2 usb and also i used hubis to interconnect all the cards to see if it might help but they all have the same results. This really sux, i even filtered EVERYTHING but "control " in hubis and it didnt help. ARRRG

I just tried the Voyager with Reason and it can control it just fine. You need to (re-)map the CCs, but it's neat to turn a know and watch the graphics change with it.
