I had a strange experience this morning while playing the Moog One.
I had no midi cables connected, no USB cables connected, just L/R audio to my audio interface. As I played the keyboard, notes would hang. I could see the voice lights go on as I played but they never went off. Pressing the L/R Octave buttons silenced the sounds but the voice lights remained lit. This happened in all patches, including the INIT patch (Compare+Shift).
I seemed to have fixed the issue by creating a new User Space. Notes in the INIT patch in the new user space did not hang. Then I exported patches from the old user space and imported them into the new user space. The issue of hanging notes seems to be gone in the new user space.
Can anyone explain what in the old user space could cause notes to hang?
Rick
***UPDATE
Within hours of reporting this issue to Moog Music, I got this response from Adam Pryor:

Certainly an odd issue from the description given. There's only one setting that I can think of that would cause notes to hang across all presets. If the sustain input switch type is set to "open" in the CV inputs menu, this can cause the gate to stick as if a sustain pedal is connected. Setting the switch type to "closed" resolves the issue.
The sustain input switch setting is stored in the user space data, so switching to or creating a new user space can change the setting. Check the old user space to see what the sustain input switch is set to and compare that with the new user space.

Yes, this was causing my issue. I had I forgotten I had to change the "sustain switch type" to get my sustain pedal to work, and when I unplugged the sustain pedal I got this behavior. Totally user error.
I'm posting this because of the rapid and friendly email response I received from Moog Music.
