How to connect Subharmonicon to a larger modular system?

Hello everyone on the Moog Music forum!
I am currently using Moog Subharmonicon and really like its unique sound. However, I am looking to expand my creativity by connecting Subharmonicon to a larger Eurorack modular system. I have learned about CV and Gate ports, but I am still not sure how to set it up to synchronize the beat and control from the main system. Can anyone with experience share with me how to connect effectively and what to keep in mind when integrating Subharmonicon into a large modular setup?
