No but is a pretty good idea.

I don't think if would be very hard to build one too. 2 pots, 2 switches 2 jacks a box and most likley a couple of resistors.

I agree with sir_dss that it shouldn't be difficult to built your own, especially if you're handy with a soldering iron and have a little bit of electronics experience.

going a little too far, no?

i'm actually in favor of a more, er, free exchange of ideas. if someone came along and thought up a new product that helps me make music, by enhancing equipment i already own, then i'm all for it. i dare say this guy's little switching box is not going to steal any market share away from moog music, as it is an auxillairy device that by all appearances can only enhance the moogerfooger line.

now, if you had said, "hey, maybe moog should BUY this guy's idea, and produce it themselves, but better," then i'd be in agreement.

It looks like the guy didn't patent it by the auction listing so it's a free-for-all and Moog can copy his if they want to. Moog's not that type of company though

I'd agree too... Tom Oberheim and Dave Smith both sort of got their starts by making devices to enhance existing Moog products, as well as Oberheim hacking around with ARP modules that eventually led to his polyphonic synth.... Not that this little device is very high tech, but same premise.

Yeah I admit sometimes I get a little heave handed.

It mus be all the years in the armed service(desert storm I). I'm glad the music had such a profound inpact on me and is slowly changing my outlook on things.

BTW..LG do you have anything or know this creep who's burning the good name of Moog Music?

no, i can't say i know the guy. with all due respect, it's unlikely that you do either, thus name-calling seems a bit pointless. i appreciate your coming to the defense of moog music, a company that i also highly esteem, but i'd argue that in this case they're not in need of such chivalry. maybe save it for the next time an actual competitor tries to emulate bob moog's filter circuit design for their own line of "foogerizer" pedals.

as for music having a profound effect, i'm thankful it has been thus for you. it's been a life-saver for me also, in more ways than i could enumerate.

fwiw, i'm sure i've been guilty of a heavy hand (or two) at times...
