I've just bought a Subharmonicon and I'd like some suggestions regarding sequencing. While the step pitch control dial for OSC 1, if set to a two-octave range and quantised, can sweep through 12 or 8 notes x2ish, the range varies with the sub oscillator frequencies. If OSC 1 is sequenced, SUB will follow it in terms of raising or lowering the pitch by semitones or tones. If the SUB is sequenced, the pitch control increases or lowers the frequency subdivisions, which aren't consistent and depend on where SUB is set.
Setting e.g. SUB 1 to f/1, and sweeping from highest to lowest on step pitch control gives a range from f/1 to f/8 (e.g. C6 to C3 or D7 to D4, with OSC1 set to C6 or D7), setting SUB in the middle to about f/4 (C3) and sweeping from high to low on step pitch control has a range of f/1 to f/16 (C6 to C2) and setting SUB at the lowest f/16 (C2) gives a step pitch control range of f/8 to f/16 (C3 to C2). Sequencing SUB by itself should fairly easy, with OSC 1 producing a constant pitch if required; however, sequencing OSC 1 and SUB (without separate pitch controls) is overly complex and if there's any suggestions about to do it systematically/musically, that would be great. Sounds excellent anyway though.
