Connecting to Mac
Hi all. This is going to thrill you all with the complexity of the question but I’m looking at a Theremini and want to know what’s the best way to connect it to a Mac and record it directly in GarageBand? don’t want to use it to control anything, just record what I play. I only ask because I saw someone post that they can’t use there theremini with GarageBand. I don’t know what leads I’ll need or anything as I do t have the theremini yet but want to be ready to go straight away.

Re: Connecting to Mac
To connect your Theremini to your Mac for recordinghill climb racing in GarageBand, you’ll need a few things. First, get a 1/4" instrument cable to connect the Theremini’s audio output to an audio interface or a USB mixer that connects to your Mac. If you don't have an interface, you can use a simple 1/4" to USB adapter, but an interface will give you better sound quality. Once connected, open GarageBand, create a new audio track, and select your audio interface as the input source. Hit record, and you’re ready to capture your Theremini sounds. Just make sure to adjust the gain levels to avoid clipping!

Re: Connecting to Mac
You can connect the Theremini to your Mac for recording in GarageBand via USB or an audio interface. The USB-B to USB-A/C cable allows direct digital audio input,Chill Guy Clicker while a 1/4" TS cable into an audio interface like a Focusrite Scarlett provides higher-quality sound. After connecting, select the Theremini as the input device in GarageBand’s preferences, and you're ready to record.
