Matriarch / Grandmother optimisation

Post by alexone » Sat Feb 22, 2020 11:41 am

Very happy user of Matriarch here.

Three questions about optimisation of these beasts.

Sorry if the question has already been asked. Do you think we'll ever see a computer application for the matriarch/grandmother. I'm starting to scratch the advanced features and, not to mention the fact that it's really annoying, I'm starting to get lost. It would be so cool to have an app to do these tweaks.

Second question: after the first month of huge progress I'm starting to turn around. Where can you find examples of patches? There are very few on the Internet and they are for beginners. The ones in the booklet are awesome and I really learn a lot of new things. Is there any books or things like this?

One last question: what is a perfect companion for the Matriarch? The o'coast attract me for a long time. I don't really want to go modular.

Greetings to the whole Moog family :D

I think there will be an editor for the Matriarch soon for global settings. I called tech support the other day and asked about an editor. The response was that they couldn’t confirm nor deny an editor was in the works, but there have been so many requests for one and it is totally doable.

I also asked if the editor could save non-patchable presets. One tech said it couldn’t be done and another tech said it was possible. I’m wishfully hoping it can but would like to know for sure before purchasing. Does anyone here know if it would be possible to save non-patchable sounds?
