Matriarch & Logic Tuning Problems

I put together a chordal sequence in D major, and then using the usb midi, I recorded into Logic. If you're familiar with Logic, you know that in coming harmonies are displayed in the control panel. When I started the sequence and began to record instead of the DGem sequence I'd input into the Matriarch, but in Logic the sequence came in as EbGbfm. I disconnect the usb cable, and started from scratch -- same result. Is this a problem with Logic? Anybody have any insight? Thanks.
