Yeah, Waldorf makes great synths and it appears that the right people will be involved.

With the Q and my Voyager I can have my cake and eat it too!

Those synsonics drums rock haha. I dusted off mine after about 15 years and recorded half of my electronica album with them.

They rock for running them through various kinds of processors and delays. THe latest i ran them through was my Ring Modulator.

Mine is growing a bit unstable sometimes not keeping the tempo right anymore. Its very sensitive on the tempo control.

THey also have a roland midi string/keys unit for sale for under 100 dollars. COuld be similar to the one in the sonic infinity video.

Yep! I bought some and pretended to be Wolfgang Flur - no jumping around with tennis rackets for me.

Have you tried modding them to trigger your analogue gear? It's easy-peasy and you can have so much fun triggering all manner of stupidity.

Careful with an XTk - aftertouch transmission is broken. You won't want it as a controller...AT works just fine on internal sounds though.

Ummm... I did it when I was a kid so it isn't that difficult. I drilled a couple of holes in the end, popped in some 3.5mm jack sockets and then soldered them on to the piezo pickups. (I also had a couple of sockets floating around inside - I think I ran out of the surface mounting jobbies.)

So the pads send out triggers and the Synsonic can be triggered by 808 / whatever trigs. I triggered mine from my 808 and Rogue and I played poly chords from my JX-3P sequencer by whacking the pads. Great fun! I'll try to dig it out and put up a pic.

Note the vintage '80s electronic gear dust. I've been bottling this and selling it on to people for that authentic analogue vibe
