Sustain pedal + subsequent 37cv

Hi there!

I'm currently looking to purchase a subsequent 37 cv. I just wanted to know if it is possible to hook up a sustain pedal to the key/gate and when assigned properly have it trigger a sustain message over midi?
I read the manual and it doesn't seem clear that if I map keygate to susped it generates a cc64 message?

I.e can you use a sustain pedal with a sb37cv to trigger a vst piano sustain?
If not, is there any other way you can recommend to achieve this with sub37; I don't have room for both a piano controller and a synth.

Is it possible to switch polarity on modypoly to use a sustain pedal that normally closed like a Yamaha fc5?
