Is It Possible to Use Y Cables?

Post by Scuba » Wed Apr 25, 2018 6:18 pm

A lot of configurations with the M32 require the assign out to be used. If that happens, is it possible to use a Y cable to send the assign out to whatever port it's going to AND to the clock on the DFAM to have them synced? Btw, I haven't found any mono 3.5 m to m Y cables yet. I wonder if i can splice the ones i have. Any thoughts?

From the manual:
NOTE: When patching, it is OK to split an output signal with a “Mult”, a “y” cable, or with cables with stackable plugs. When connecting to inputs, only connect one output signal to a single input to prevent over-voltages.
So you should be good to go splitting the assign out once you find a cable :D
Here is a canadian supplier if you dont make one.

There are also piggy-back cables that give you another jack on the back of one side of the cable.
