I want to buy a new stand for my Voyager and I am looking at the K&M Omega stand. My idea is and to install the second tier with the keyboard shelf on it; seems a good place for 4 foogers.
The width of shelf is 65 cm/25.6 inch, so that also the distance between the outer parts of the second tier. Amazingly enough, the Voyager feet are at a distance of 64.5 cm/25.4 inch
So here goes for probably the most stupid question ever asked on this forum , but is it safe to remove the feet from the Voyager? I read some post on Harmony Central where someone experienced issues, so I thought I'd better ask in advance... Alternatively I can place a shelf on the lower tier, but it's not as elegant a solution I think. Maybe someone on this forum has experience with the Omega stand and the Voyager?
These are the stand and parts I am looking at:

Re: feet
I removed the feet on my Voyager years ago. No problem other then walking a bass line is somewhat clumsier now.

Re: feet
Just in any case someone might want to know. I bought the 18810 with stackers + the optional tray and the voyager fits perfectly on the bottom tier. No need to remove the feet.
