Rosanna synth solo oscilator envelope

Hello guys,

I just got my brand new subsequent 37 and am still learning about all the synths.

I am trying to recreate the Rosanna synth solo by Toto, and stumbled across a video about it by the synth player of Toto (https://youtu.be/d0YovLglTuY?t=2m20s)

The thing is, he's talking about an envelope on the oscilator frequency. I would have no idea how to do that, I do know about the envelope generators of the filter and amplitude, but not of a single oscilator. At around 2:20 he talks about that. Could you please help me out with this (and perhaps with the rest of the patch as well? )?

Hi - I have a sub phatty which is probably very similar, on that I would set the Modulation source knob to filter eg, then when the mod wheel is up the amount of envelope controlling the pitch is set by the pitch amt knob. I can also choose to just have Osc 2 affected by the modulation. You can also use the same method to sweep the filter cutoff and the wave shape
