mf 101 rf noise

I have actually taken advantage of the radio stations in a song, with the right **foot** controlable FX, you can change stations!! Hook up a delay, and all kinds of fun can be had!

Bumping this to see if anyone else has had this problem, and whether or not a solution was found.

I've used my MF 102 and 103 for a couple of years without issue, they are very quiet. Last week I bought a used (out of warranty) 101 filter, and it is picking up a lot of RF. Same PSU and audio cables as my other Foogers, so I'm wondering if it is defective?

Some of my other pedals pick up RF, mainly the fuzz and distortion pedals when cranked up. But my MF 101 gets radio stations even when the gain is turned down. It's only there when the filter is active - when I click the footswitch to bypass the effect it is dead quiet.

Any ideas?

Update - I tried some snap-on ferrite cores in various places, which seemed to help slightly but not really worth the effort. I guess I'll try sending it in for repairs. With the exact same setup, I can swap out my MF 102 or 103 and they are quiet. Only the 101 picks up radio stations. Weird.

UPDATE #2 - I guess there's nothing wrong with my MF101, it's most likely the power in my house or just my proximity to a radio tower. I took the pedal to work with me to test it there and there's no RFI noise at all. So while it is great news that my pedal isn't broken, it's just unusable in my home studio.

Not to be of great help here, but my MF101 (an old one) bears much less the daisy chain power supply than other MF do, especially when it shares it with the CP-251.

I bought some conductive copper tape and lined the inside of the wood panels. It seemed to help when I had the same problem.
